2. Data protection officer

No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so.

3. What data we process

When you write to us using a form on this website (property enquiry, valuation, contact) or by email, we process the information you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, your message and, for a valuation, the details of the property. We use this information to handle your enquiry, to send you documents about the property and to get in touch with you. To protect against misuse, we store a non-reversible hash of the IP address with each enquiry.

4. Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation and performance of a brokerage contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries and in protecting the website).

5. Cookies and visitor statistics

This website does not set cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not use any third-party analytics or advertising services. That is why there is no cookie banner.

For our own visitor statistics, our server counts which pages are viewed, how long they are read and where a visit comes from (for example a search engine). Instead of the IP address, we only store a non-reversible hash that changes daily. If you come to the website via a link in an email from us, we link this visit to your enquiry so that we can advise you appropriately. If “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” is set in your browser, we only count anonymously. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a website and advice that meet your needs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete this data after two years at the latest.

6. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted on our own server in Germany (data centre of Hetzner Online GmbH); photos, map images, fonts and videos also come from there, and no content is loaded from third-party servers. When the website is accessed, the server processes technically necessary access data (IP address, date, time, page requested, browser type). This data is not combined with other data and is deleted after 7 days at the latest.

7. Disclosure of data

We only pass on your data where this is necessary for the brokerage, where there is a legal basis or where third parties involved have a legitimate interest. Possible recipients include owners and property management companies of the property you enquired about, other parties involved in the transaction (e.g. financing partners, insurers), our service providers (e.g. IT, tax advice, legal representation) and public authorities. We never pass on your data for advertising purposes. There is no automated decision-making (profiling).

8. External links

The loan comparison (profin), the map view in Google Maps and the websites of our new development projects only open when you click the link. The privacy policy of the respective provider applies there.

9. Storage period

We store your data for as long as is necessary to handle your enquiry and any brokerage, and beyond that only where statutory retention obligations apply.

10. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). To exercise these rights, please write to us at office@mueldenberg.com.

11. Right to lodge a complaint
